Lee Hansen is originally from Rockford, Illinois. In 1991 he moved to Orlando, Florida where he currently makes his home. Professional Musician/Percussionist, Arranger Education and Experience: Lee attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana from 1988 to 1989. In 1991 he attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He has worked as a Professional Percussionist with the Future Corps at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT Center and the Village Beatniks for Disney’s Animal Kingdom. He has also worked in the roles of teacher, writer and arranger for Cypress Creek High School in Orlando, Florida. Lee is currently endorsed by Vic Firth Sticks, Premier Percussion and Sabian Cymbals. Professional Highlights: Mr. Hansen has worked on many important projects, among them are: Tapestry of Nations; The Millennium Celebration at EPCOT Center, the World Premiere of Pocahontas in New York’s Central Park, ABC Radio, The Disney Channel, 2 tours of Japan, “Live with Regis and Kathy Lee," and performances with Susan Egan. He marched twelve years with the Phantom Regiment Organization. In 1989 and 1991 he was named Drum Corps Midwest Champion Multi-Tenor Drummer. Also in 1991 he was the Drum Corps International World Champion Multi-Tenor Drummer. Lee has used his many talents to help build from the ground up, a champion winning drum line at Cypress Creek High School. Personal Notes: In his spare time Lee has tried to learn other musical instruments, but mentions it might be best if he stuck to drumming! His aspirations in life are to excel as a musician; to be the best performer, writer and arranger he can be. When asked what his greatest professional achievement is, he responds “being able to make music for a living.” Lee lists his relationship with his wife as his greatest personal achievement, he states; “My wife Carla supports me in everything that I do, and is into everything that I do.” No. Really?
