John B. deHaas

Musician (Piano)/Vocal Coach/Cardio Kickboxing Instructor 

John currently lives in Orlando, Florida. He is originally from Euclid, Ohio.

Education & Experience:

John deHaas received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from John Carroll University in Ohio. He has spent the last 15 years working as a performer, writer, director and arranger. His clients include major theme parks, 2 years of summer stock, 5 cruise ships and numerous restaurants and lounges as a solo pianist.

Professional Highlights

Some of John’s key projects have including writing and directing 2 original musicals entitled ”Just This Once” and “Theme Park Diva”. He has also written the lyrics for three children’s shows. His talents have allowed him to work with musicians all over the world. When asked of his greatest achievements, John lists being featured on a worldwide CD release for NARADA records: First Light: Piano Solos and writing, recording and producing three solo projects: Music in an Old House, Crossing the Bridge, and Still.

Personal Notes:

Mr. deHaas aspires to have his shows produced regionally, nationally and worldwide! He has been playing the piano since he was 8 years old and still loves it. He says, “There is not a day that goes by when I am not grateful and thankful for my musical abilities, and I am very fortunate to be able to make a living making music.” His hobbies include body building, roller blading, collecting CD’s (numbering 3000 now) traveling, watching movies, listening to all kinds of music and riding roller coasters.

No. Really?

John has ridden over 250 different roller coasters in the US, Canada, Australia and Japan. As a big theme park fan, wherever John finds himself, he tries to visit parks and ride as many coasters as he can.
